About the Job:

Accounting Manager manages day-to-day all accounting functions including and not limited to Accounts Payable, General Ledger, subsystem transactions, month-end close and financial reporting. Additionally, Accounting Manager manages and leads initiatives for all accounting functions.

What You'll Do:

  • Accountable for accurate and timely accounting and reporting for TICF.
  • Ensure all account reconciliations are completed within TICF guidelines.
  • Ensure journal entries are reviewed in accordance with TICF guidelines.
  • Ensure all account analysis is performed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all accounting related policies are up to date.
  • Responsible for review of financial results with TICF and TICO/TINA Leadership Teams.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable JSOX controls.
  • Evaluate the accuracy and reasonableness of financial information.
  • Lead collaboration with business partners.
  • Provide support related to requests for FP A, Treasury, Tax, Accounts Receivable, other departments, and affiliated companies.
  • Manage and support internal and external audits.
  • Coach, mentor and provide developmental opportunities for direct reports.
  • Promote and support innovation collaboration.
  • Lead discussions related to Accounting for Company-wide projects (e.g. Odessa Core, BillTrust cash application, sFIN cash disbursement, Treasury FX and I/C lending practices, etc.)
  • Manage and lead accounting initiatives from an accounting perspective.
  • Be a subject matter expert in the following areas:
    • technical accounting (i.e. loan and lease accounting: IFRS and US GAAP)
    • host system (i.e. s4hana/sFIN, Concur, G-Treasury, Wholesale Intelligence, Odessa Core, BillTrust)
    • governance and controls (i.e. JSOX, Risk and Control Matrix, etc.)


Qualifications You'll Need:

Must Have:

  • 5 - 10 years of accounting experience
  • BA in Accounting required
  • CPA license required
  • 4 + years management experience


Great to Have:

  • Experience supervising in a process-oriented environment a plus
  • Knowledge of/experience in the financial services industry a plus
  • Ability to analyze processes and recommend improvements in a continuously changing environment required
  • Advanced Excel experience a plus
  • Experience managing/querying large amounts of data preferred
  • Experience with SAP / Odessa / Oracle a plus
