Job Description:
As a BIE, you will be an integral team member for automation and be responsible for:
The implementation and delivery of programs and projects that cut across businesses and subsidiaries.
The ideal candidate will work with a high degree of autonomy, have excellent project management skills, and cultivate collaborative relationships with partner teams and stakeholders.
You should have excellent business and communication skills, and be able to work with business owners to understand their data and reporting requirements. You should also be able to author and maintain detailed technical documentation related to the projects you drive.
You do whatever it takes to add value. You don't care whether you're building complex ML models, writing blazing-fast code, integrating multiple disparate data sets, or creating baseline models - you care passionately about stakeholders and know that as a curator of data insight, you can unlock massive cost savings and preserve business continuity.
Above all, you should be passionate about working with large data sets and be someone who is able to bring data sets together to answer business questions and drive automation. You will build ETLs to ingest data into data warehouses and data lakes, as well as, create end-user-facing reporting.
Basic Qualification
Master's degree and 2+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of a data scientist or a similar role involving data extraction, analysis, statistical modeling, and communication experience
Experience with math/stats software (R, SAS, Stata) or other domain-specific software.
Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL) and scripting languages (e.g. Python)
Preferred Qualification
1+ years of experience with AWS Solutions, including EC2, S3, and Redshift
2+ years of experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
Experience with SAS statistical software
Experience analyzing compensation and other employment-related data.
Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science
