About The Role:
A Software Quality Assurance Analyst II is responsible for assuring that Leading Reach's products are held to a high standard of quality by writing test cases/test plans, duplicating and reporting defects, and being an integral member of the development team. A person in this role will have a good understanding of software development testing methods and best practices that affect the quality and security of Leading Reach's applications and systems. As such, deep product knowledge of the various LeadingReach applications and a high level of communication and teamwork are expected. As Leading Reach serves both clients and vendors in the healthcare industry, knowledge of standards, compliance measures and how electronic health records systems is a plus for this role.

What You Need:
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent in applicable work experience. Preferred degrees: CS or BA in CS, MIS, IFSM or related fields.Other degree considerations: EE, Mathematics, or other engineering disciplines. Will substitute degree for work experience if work experience is applicable in an IT related field.
- Minimum (1-2) years working as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst or Software Developer or other related IT field.
- Experience using Chrome development tools/Firefox/IE/Edge debugging tools.
- Experience writing SQL statements (select, insert, update, delete, JOINs...etc.)
- Experience using MySQL Workbench or a similar tool like MS Query Analyzer.
- Working knowledge of Linux or Unix type OS systems (ie. Ubuntu, Redhat, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Git and Github.
- Working knowledge using Jira for creating and maintaining user stories or a similar tool (Rally)
- Working knowledge using Confluence to document systems, test plans, testing efforts, etc.
- Familiarity with Jenkins or other types of automated build and deployment systems.
Skill & Ability:
- Intermediate level of writing test cases, defects, etc.
- Intermediate level of QA Testing and best practices aptitude
- Intermediate level with JIRA or similar tool like Rally
- Basic knowledge of Confluence
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Basic or familiar knowledge of either MySQL WorkBench or MS Query Analyzer
- Knowledge of Chrome development tools/Firefox debug tools
- Experience with Agile development practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work concurrently on multiple tasks
- Time Management
- Problem Solving/Analytical
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Thorough, precise and have a strong eye for detail
- Work well independently as well as within a dynamic team
- Have a passion for "breaking things" and a desire to learn from each QA task
