Summary of Position
Travels to different locations. Serves patients by preparing medications; giving pharmacological information to multidisciplinary health care team; monitoring patient drug therapies. Responsible for all aspects of Pharmacy Operations within their store including inventory, personnel and security with emphasis on customer relations.

Pharmacist Qualifications
Minimum: Must be able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time. Able to read and understand the English language. Able to effectively maintain confidentiality of records and communicate with all levels of personnel. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management staff, and contacts outside the organization. Must be able to work with multiple changing priorities. Requires excellent organizational, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Must be able to interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority. Requires the ability to maintain confidentiality. Must be able to function as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail.
Experience: Three years of retail pharmacy experience.
Additional skills required: Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and internet. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional skills preferred: Familiarity with pharmacy software programs necessary to execute daily tasks. Prior FQHC or public health experience.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
Certification(s): Unrestricted Pharmacy license in the state of North Carolina
Pharmacist Key Responsibilities
Fill prescriptions (product selection; counting and measuring drugs; capping and uncapping vials and bottles; labeling of prescriptions) and prepare compounds Retrieve and file prescriptions in the appropriate files (including CIIs) Pull outdated, damaged and recalled merchandise and prepare for return In cases of dispensing incidents, follow company procedures: notification, report completion Communicate and interact with physicians, dentists, nurses and others in health related fields to better serve our customer Ensure compliance with all company procedures and federal and state laws, rules and regulations Utilize PMG System to query for patient financial records Utilize EMR System to query patient information, initiate patient messages to provider/staff Must be able to perform accurate cash management /transaction procedures.
