Position Highlights:
Our Transportation Engineering team is growing! Stewart is seeking a talented Roadway Project Engineer OR Roadway Engineer (based on years of experience) to join our Transportation team. In this exciting role, you will be utilizing MicroStation to work on a wide variety of projects, including roadway plans, traffic management plans, pavement marking plans, and signing plans.
Your work may range from bridge replacements to multi-lane widening projects to interchange designs. Put your creativity and innovation skills to the test as you generate ideas and designs for intersection improvement, roundabouts, and superstreet design. Our world class team of professional engineers and planners is ready to welcome you into a role that will expand and diversify your portfolio and develop your leadership skills, all in a collaborative work environment. Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
You are willing and able to work in a professional, climate-controlled office environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to lots of light, both natural and artificial. Workstations are in an open space layout with frequent collaboration and interactions from co-workers throughout the day. Within the office you are willing and able to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Additional requirements include providing on-site technical assistance by accessing client or construction sites with varying terrain.

Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, required.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), required.
- Roadway Project Engineer: 6 or more years of experience in the transportation engineering industry, required.
- Roadway Engineer: 6 or more years of experience in the transportation engineering industry, required.
- Experience in MicroStation, Geopak, and Corridor Modelling, required.
- Strong written and oral communications skills required.
- Valid driver's license required.
Nice to Have
- Open Roads Designer (ORD), preferred.
