Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on a team of 4 developers modernizing an enterprise Corporate Management Information System that integrates services to achieve a reduction in the Unliquidated Obligation (ULO) cycle-time and increase efficiencies.
- Write code, develop features, and maintain the application.
- Address user issues, fix bugs, and improve system performance.
- Work on a small collaborative development team that operates on a monthly sprint schedule, to include quarterly upgrades.
- Adapt to a fast-paced, agile work environment.
- Utilize a tech stack that includes Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Docker.
- Manage and update Docker containers to ensure efficient application deployment and scaling, as well as streamline the development process.
- Engage in Agile methodologies, participate in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and adapt to changing requirements and priorities in a collaborative and iterative development process.
Required Experience:
- Experience working in an Agile Development environment
- Experience managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to include requirements definition, design, development, test, deployment, and sustainment
- Experience with Java
- Experience with PrimeNG UI and TypeForm API
- Experience managing systems in a virtual hosting environment including AWS
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Six (6) years of experience in software development/ engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Ten (10) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with JavaScript Framework (Angular, Vue, React)
- Full Stack Development experience
- Willingness to learn modern technologies
