National Accounts Project Manager Roll and Responsibilities.
Qualified Candidates must have experience with most if not all the following responsibilities.
1. Must have enough experience to remotely support techs who are working on site to resolve any issues that they might encounter during a cutover or typical cabling install. Ten years of field experience is a requirement for a person to be effective in remote support roll.
2. Candidates should be experienced enough to interview a potential subcontracting company to determine if they can effectively complete what is required.
3. A National Account PM should be comfortable with looking over sub-contractor quotes to ensure that they have all aspects of the job covered. In addition, a National PM should be able to complete a take off of materials from drawings and survey information that has been submitted by sub-contractor for a project.
4. The National PM position will require after-hours work to support techs during cutovers. This could go as late as 3:00am.
5. National PM's candidate will need to be prepared to help support the National Project Coordinators at any time it's needed. They are running smaller jobs to help alleviate the number of jobs the PM's are overseeing.
6. Candidates for the National PM position should be well organized and able to prioritize responsibilities accordingly.
7. Candidates for a National PM role will be required to update share sheets with updated information as it becomes available. This is critical for us being able to pickup and help if a PM is unable to carry on for any reason.
8. 6. Candidates for the National PM position lastly should have patience when working with tech's on site. If there are issues, they will be as frustrated as you are. It's important to keep a good perspective for what they're dealing with on site.
