This position will serve as a Program Manager in the Information Operations Program Manager in the Information Operations Branch of the Information Warfare Division (AFRL/RIGB).
Come perform expert level multidisciplinary professional research involving scientific and engineering disciplines for cyber and information operations. This position is fillable at the DR-02 and DR-03 levels, depending on experience and background. Cyber Operations Background desired to lead idea creation and program execution.

Position duties include, but are not limited to:
- Leads, promotes, and enables research or other professional and scientific work related to the formulation and application of cyber-based operations and information-based operations, multifaceted problems for the Air Force and Space Force.
- Designs, researches, and conducts complex, major developmental studies that are unique, difficult to define, and require unconventional approaches.
- Resolves multi-faceted problems spanning multiple disciplines.
- Provides technical guidance to research and/or scientific teams to foster collaboration, promote synergy, encourage innovation, and ensure scientific rigor.
- Develops innovative approaches and solutions that exploit emerging technology.
- Communicates, collaborates, and provides cyber and information operations scientific counsel to SAF, MAJCOMS, COCOMS, HQ AFRL, other DoD services, universities, and industry nationally.

Required Qualifications
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent will be subject to random testing.
- A bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline. To be acceptable, the curriculum must: (1) be in a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum; or (2) include differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a) statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics.
- Applicants must be able to meet the OPM Qualification Standards of the position being filled
- Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade .
- This is an APDP position requiring Level /Tier 2 (Practitioner) Non-Critical certification in Engineering and Technical Management (N). This position has been designated as an acquisition position and is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP).
- The employee must meet, or be capable of meeting, Defense Acquisition Work Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements applicable to the duties of the position. *Applicants must list all completed APDP certification and status of acquisition corps membership on their resume.
