Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, MIS or similar field).
• Information Technology Management 4 years (Required).
• Minimum 3 year's leadership experience.
• Relevant Information Technology certifications preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.

Position Summary

The Manager of IT Ops and Security is responsible for the planning and direction of information technology activities to ensure data availability and network services with as little downtime as necessary. This position will also be responsible for IT Security and Project Management. The Manager will conduct intelligence analysis to identify threats, quantify vulnerabilities, identify policy violations, and reduce risk.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead both internal and external teams toward the common goal of maximizing operational performance while adhering to industry norm security protocols.
• Serve as a strong assistant the corporate CIO providing advice and appropriate remediation as necessary.
• Manage the IT Operations/Security Project Portfolio and provide regular updates as required to IT and Corporate leadership. This includes managing resources, timelines, and budget with multiple projects simultaneously.
• Serve as strong assistant to the CIO providing IT Security advice and appropriate remediation as necessary.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of company IT systems and assets.
• Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and data operations.
• Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communication job expectations and appraising their performance.
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain and oversee the company's anti-spam and anti-virus applications needed to protect the network.
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner.
• Audit systems as needed and assess their outcomes.
• Maintain advanced level of knowledge of systems, creating accurate standards and procedures for correct task assignment into the security databases, providing documentation for review and inclusion into departmental knowledge base.
• Awareness of and adherence to industry recommended standards and federal regulatory requirements for confidentiality, security, and privacy.
• All other duties as assigned.
