SUMMARY
A Process Engineer supports process improvements, sustaining engineering, capital equipment specification and qualification and provides technical support for a specific manufacturing area(s) - related to bulk cable or assembly production.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of this role do not include supervising other employees.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical requirements outlined below indicate those necessary to fulfill this position's core responsibilities. While performing job duties, the employee will regularly engage in activities such as using hands to finger, handle, or feel and communicating verbally. Additionally, the employee will frequently need to reach with hands and arms while standing and walking as part of the role. Occasional lifting and movement of objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds and using a ladder may be required. This position also demands specific vision capabilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodation will be provided according to ADA regulations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the job's essential functions.

- Provides technical support and troubleshooting/problem-resolution to ensure cost, quality, delivery and safety targets are met.
- Participates/lead continuous improvement projects related to manufacturing processes.
- Performs engineering analysis, DOEs, trials to improve and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Participates/Leads in Capital Equipment planning/procurement/design/Installation/Qualification (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ)
- Supports Design Engineering with Process, Tooling, Sustaining Engineering activities.
- Process Monitoring and support of continuous improvement programs.

- ASTM F-2412-2005, ANSI Z41-1999, or ANSI Z41-1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.
- Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.
- Hearing protection in specific locations.
- Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.
