Description
Provide communication planning and project management to support Exactech's marketing and corporate branding initiatives. Develop and implement product promotion plans and provide creative guidance, copywriting and project management skills. Ensure adherence to corporate standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Marketing Communication activities to support product marketing plans and corporate identity goals for domestic and international audiences.
- Guide marketing product teams by leading weekly communications meetings.
- Work with marketing product teams to define yearly communications budget.
- Establish production standards and procedures, schedules/timelines, collaborates with technical and creative resources and provides extensive copy writing.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to marketing communications specialist and/or sr specialists.
- Ensure marketing communications deliverables are compliant with corporate procedures, ISO and FDA regulations.
- Provide content development for all communication vehicles.
- Develop product-specific content for company website and other electronic tools. Provide recommendations for content enhancement.
- Develop and/or edit material for corporate events including sales meetings, tradeshows and medical education programs.
- Assist and support other employees, teams and sales personnel as necessary.
- Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required
Experience:
- Professional accreditation in communication/public relations
- Minimum 5 years in Public Relations or Marketing Communications preferred
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Creativity, competence and experience in marketing communications strategy and implementation
- Excellent editing and journalistic/technical writing skills
- Strong visual communication skills, with working knowledge of graphic design.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft applications. Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, PhotoShop and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to respond to internal customer needs, strong team-based problem solving skills.
