Project Manager - JB Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI

BB&E is a full service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors.

POSITION SUMMARY:

BB&E is seeking a Project Manager to support PACAF onsite at JBPHH, HI.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Planning, programming, designing, engineering, and/or construction management for Air Force or Department of Defense classified and unclassified communications networks, including communication requirements for Secure Online Service Agreement (SOSA) and Secure Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
• Will assist with security alarms, access control, and systems.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active DoD Security Clearance.
• A Professional Engineering License in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• A degree in Engineering or Architecture is required.
• Must be a senior professional.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Must be a senior professional with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as an engineer doing design and construction management interacting with senior engineering professionals from multiple disciplines, including a minimum of four (4) years' experience working at Air Force MAJCOM, numbered Air Force, or Field Operating Agency-level programs, directly supporting management in planning and programming activities.
• A Professional Engineering License in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Must be experienced with codes, standards, design and construction requirements for renovation of a historic administrative facility, Secret Open Storage Areas (SOSA), and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF).
• Shall receive advisement from the lead contractor as necessary for SOSA and SCIF work.
• Must have a minimum of six (6) years' experience directly supporting creation and technical expertise regarding non-advisory and assistance contracts, including SRM, SRM-like, MILCON, or other repair and renovation contracts for the Air Force or Department of Defense.
• Ability to organize and gather project data, conduct analysis, prepare reports and provide recommendations without assistance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to utilize and apply computer software skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Shall have at minimum an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Motivated self-starters requested.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 60% of the time.
• Operate office equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
• Light lifting, under 10 lbs.
• Be able to work on-site on a standard 8-hour shift Monday-Friday
