Senior Logistician - S&K Federal Services

S&K Federal Services has a need for a Senior Logistician located at the U.S. Army Testing Evaluation Command (ATEC) in Aberdeen, Maryland. This role will support a focus on Logistics Support Tasks to include but not limited to Equipment/Maintenance Management, and Property Management support.

Senior Logistician:

• Serve and support Project/Program Manager on contract assignments and objectives.
• Manage administrative details and maintain daily contact with direct reports to enhance communication and proactively identify and resolve work related issues.
• Provide daily direction and guidance while managing ATEC assigned team members for execution of duties and ensure project/program standards are maintained.
• Recruit, interview, hire and train new ATEC staff.
• Coach, counsel, employees assigned to support ATEC HQ.
• Adhere to and enforce company, project/program policies and procedures.
• Protect and control proprietary documents and processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of management.

Equipment/Maintenance Management Support:

• Provides guidance to the G-4 staff and subordinate organizations (SO's) on proper Army Logistic controls and procedures IAW published Army and ATEC regulations. Guides and trains subordinate organizations logistics automation transformation.
• Oversee and manage equipment and maintenance management functional areas to include but not limited to data collection, analysis, and reporting of vehicles and equipment. Recommend changes to SO procedures as needed

Property Management Support:

• Oversee and manage property management support to include but not limited to Property Accountability, Shipping/Receiving Operations, Tool Crib Issue/Inventory, Weapons Management, Fuel Management and Logistics Operations Support for Test Programs in support of ATC. Recommend changes to SO procedures as needed.

Education

• Associate Degree in business or finance or related field is required. Prefer higher education level.
• Graduate of Master Leaders Course, Advanced Warrant Officer Course, or Logistics Captains Career Course (Optional/Encouraged).

Experience

• A minimum of four (4) years supervisory leadership experience.
• A minimum of ten (10) years specific experience in Equipment Management, Maintenance Management, and Property Management.
• A minimum of five (5) years' experience using GCSS-A in multiple roles including Access Administration (AA).
• Must have three (3) years Subject Matter level experience at the Brigade/equivalent level with Army Logistics Systems (GCSS-A, MMIS, TIMS, AESIP) or as a Combat Service Support Automation Management Officer (CSSAMO) or equivalent.
• A minimum (2) years of Army Logistics experience at the strategic level is preferred.

License, Cert or Registration

• Must have current/valid drivers' license for clearance or if driving is required.
• Must have proof of U.S. citizenship.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Must have Global Combat Sustainment System-Army (GCSS-Army) Certificates.

Special knowledge, skills, & abilities

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently.
• Must be proficient in the use of computers and software to perform work (e.g., GCSS-Army and AESIP, Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft BI) and general office equipment.
• Practice high standards of personal hygiene and maintain a clean, net appearance while on duty.
• Comply with dress code applicable to facility and location being supported as well ensure ID, badges and credentials are clearly visible while on duty.
