- Mix of outpatient and inpatient coverage
Responsibilities
Summary:
Makes all professional medical judgments in care of patients seen
Responsibilities:
- Assumes the attending role for hospice patients in the community and in Presbyterian hospice units, unless followed by their PCP.
- As a consultant, works with patient and family to develop a recommended plan of care supports appropriate medical treatment in concordance with the patients goals of care.
- Uses clinical skills to relieve the suffering of patients and their families.
- Provides support and oversight of the work of the hospice care team RN, APN or PAs direct patient care activities, as required by Medical Staff Bylaws.
Other information:
