Kansas Office of the Revisor of Statutes

Principle Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Revisor of Statutes, this attorney serves as nonpartisan legal counsel to the Kansas Legislature, including all parties, members and committees.

The Assistant Revisor of Statutes duties include:

• Drafting Legislative legal documents (bills, amendments, reports, and legal memos)
• Legal research
• Staffing Legislative committees

Qualifications: Candidates for this position must be admitted to and in good standing with the Bar of the Supreme Court of Kansas, at the time of appointment.

Salary: $80,100 for candidates with no experience and salary commensurate with a candidate's legal experience.
