The authentically African-themed resort is home to America's largest indoor waterparks and features well-appointed guest rooms, full-service Spa Kalahari, a fun-filled family entertainment center, on-site signature restaurants, unique retail shops and a state-of-the-art convention center.
As a company, we execute small and large local, regional, state, and national events at a high level. This department is responsible for close to 40% of related resort revenue.
We are inviting you to apply for theopenDirector of Banquetsposition. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the setup, audio-visual staff, and banquet execution teams for the convention center. You'll refresh our standards, train, and hold staff accountable through collaboration with the Corporate and property Directors of Food Beverage, others in your position at our resorts, and our catering and culinary team(s).
You will be responsible for development and operation of the budget, comply with health, safety, and sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards. You will report to the property Director of Food Beverage.
Salary: $90,000-$100,000 base salary with an expected bonus between $25,000-$38,000.

- Five years of banquet leadership experience
- You have managed a convention center or large hotel with over 80,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.
