The P&W Digital Product Management team is seeking a highly motivated Lead Data Products Architect to join our team. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the next generation of P&W digital products and services by leading architecture on data platforms for our product data, engine health management systems and digital twin / thread environments.
The successful candidate will be highly collaborative, technically savvy, and responsible for leading the practice of designing, implementing, and managing architecture and services for our key data driven products. They are responsible to collaborate with, supervise and mentor architects and engineers from other disciplines to ensure that the technical solutions and approaches are consistent with other parts of the enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field with 12+ years of relevant experience OR and advanced degree or equivalent experience in a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- US Citizenship required due to government contracts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field.
- 15+ years experience (or equivalent) with relevant technology like and not limited to, enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures for data and analytics, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services including broad understanding of all services, deep knowledge of data specific tools and proven recent effective implementations.
- Demonstrated expertise with a with large-scale application portfolios in enterprise-wide environments (including migration of on premise to cloud) and security aspects of cloud architecture
- Strong ability to communicate technical plans to technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders at all levels of organization
- Masters degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field preferred
- Demonstrated experience designing and building architectures with distributed and tiered applications or real time data movement
- Experience with the following AWS native cloud services, Redshift, PostgreSQL (Postgres), EC2, Lambda, Glue, EMR, Kinesis.
- Demonstrates hands-on technical skills and knowledge in one Server/OS, Network, Cloud migration, Database and Middleware management, or Storage and Virtualization management.
- Required Skills: Javascript (React/Redux), Java (Spring Boot), SQL, PL/SQL, Rest API, Python, Spark, Hive, Terraform, AWS/Azure experience, Oozie and Sqoop.
- Certification preferred for AWS Architect
- Experience with software development life cycle and have coding or scripting experience
- Experience with application scalability and performance testing
- Experience with DevOps tools (example: Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild)
- Experience in all aspects of data governance and data engineering
