The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Vascular Surgery & Endovascular Therapy, seeks full-time Clinical Associates for renewable terms of up to two years. The appointees will contribute to patient care and join a vibrant and distinguished community of faculty colleagues and learners at UChicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, and the University of Chicago and its affiliates. These positions are expected to practice in the community setting.
Clinical responsibilities will include a comprehensive vascular surgery clinical practice. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Surgery (or equivalent), and 4) have completed an ACGME accredited fellowship and/or equivalent training in vascular surgery.
