The Senior Manager, Quality Engineering leads a diverse team of hourly and salaried Quality team members. The Senior Manager provides leadership and direction to all levels within the Air Management Systems, Windsor Locks, CT site to ensure a healthy product quality signature.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Foster a diverse culture of engaged and committed employees.
  • Support site Quality Management System in accordance with current quality standards.
  • Direct quality deliverables and initiatives including: quality notification reviews, material disposition, certificate of Conformance review, shipment data packages, root cause and investigation.
  • Work cross functionally resolving problems with product quality impacting operations and customers.
  • Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of inspection procedures and technologies.
  • Drive product and process improvements ensuring the value stream quality metric goals are met (Escapes, Scrap, Rework, Throughput, Process Certification).
  • Establish system to support data integrity and accessibility.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Prior supervisory experience leading teams of quality professionals
  • SAP and material review board (MRB) experience.
