Raytheon Technologies Enterprise Cybersecurity Services Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) function has an opening within the Cyber policy and Compliancegroup. The ISSO position will play a critical role in protecting company assets that may store or process valuable company data from potential cyber-attacks and help maintain our company's reputation as a cyber-security leader, which indirectly would impact customer relationships and future contract awards.
This position will work closely with different levels of ECS personnel to ensure their systems are properly secured prior to their go-live dates, which requires collaboration to address scheduling requirements in an efficient manner.
Leverage not only deep technical skills but also collaborate effectively with both technical and management-level personnel. This position will be viewed as a reliable and respected Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of Information Security and Architecture across the company and may also Support Raytheon participation in security forums and standards working groups.

Minimum 5-7 years of related experience within Information Security, Systems Engineering, System Architecture or Security Controls.
EDUCATION:
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a principal advisor on all matters involving the security of an Information System (IS)
- Capturing and refining security requirements for IS to which they are assigned
- Performing security control assessments for any IS they are not supporting as a ISSO
- Ensuring the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for IS to which they are assigned
- Ensuring IS to which they are assigned operate in accordance with the approved Security Authorization Package and Authorization to Operate (ATO) once Authorized
- Apply advanced techniques and scientific principles to identify creative solutions to system-specific challenges in risk management and information assurance
- Support the development of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) methodologies that extends knowledge in the IT Security and Risk Management areas to be used as the basis of newly developed concepts, theories, and procedures
Desired Skills:
Minimum 5-7 years of related experience within Information Security, Systems Engineering, System Architecture or Security Controls.
- Knowledge of network technologies/protocols and computer security concepts in large scale enterprise technology environment.
- Strong comprehension of Information Security practices including identifying risks, emerging cyber security threats, and risk mitigation processes.
- Cloud Security Experience (AWS, Azure)
- Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience
- Knowledge and experience identifying, assessing, and documenting compliance against applicable DoD cybersecurity standards.
- Familiarity with the use of vulnerability scanning and assessment tools (e.g., ACAS/Rapid 7/STIG Viewer) necessary to identify and document compliance.
- Good social, verbal, and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively present analytical data to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
- Master's Degree Cyber security or related field
- Certified security expert CISSP or CISM
- Familiarity with project management concepts
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and be fully accountable in a geographically dispersed virtual and fast paced work environment.
- Strong deductive reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, and prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
