Responsibilities:

The candidate will use their skills and experience to:

• Support high volume manufacturing processes.
• Create and improve work instructions and communicate directly to assembly technicians.
• Provide feedback to design engineering on manufacturability of current and future designs.
• Work in cross functional teams including operations, quality, design engineering, and supply chain to reach common goals.
• Continuously improve the efficiency and yield of product.
• Select and design tooling and equipment for use in production with justification of cost and reliability.

This position will also require:

• Conducts detailed design work focused on the layout of assembly operations.
• Plans the sequence of operations and develops specification procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
• Improves production methods, determines manufacturing capacity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with assembly integrating precision machine parts and circuit card assemblies
• Ability to design tooling using NX CAD for use in production
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including ability to communicate with senior leadership and assembly technicians.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical engineering or related field and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience OR
• In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder
