SUMMARY
As a Broker Relationship Manager, your primary focus will be:
Managing broker relationships in the active pipeline Educate and facilitate broker activity in the sales community Originate in house referrals through our broker relationships.
Your efforts will directly contribute to the efficient origination of brokered mortgage loans and the overall growth of revenue.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Technical Knowledge, Years of Related Experience, Skills, Licenses, and Systems Experience
Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred). OR industry experience - a minimum of 4 years of experience in mortgage lending, sales, or relationship management within a similar internal setup. Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain successful business relationships, thorough understanding of mortgage products, industry regulations, and market dynamics, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. License: Requires an NMLS license in all states where we offer broker business Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
TRAINING REQUIRED
Participate in additional training on sales, technology, products, procedures and pricing on an ongoing basis. Participate in sales leadership and FAQ calls. Complete annual training as required by company policy and law on an annual basis in a timely manner.

Attend and participate in all Monthly Awards Ceremonies, Corporate Gatherings (including travelling to headquarters quarterly) , Sales Calls & Training Events. Read all newsletters and bulletins to remain current on corporate policies, procedures, and developments.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal loan officers within our organization through regular communication and collaboration.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal loan officers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing necessary support throughout the loan process.
- Listen attentively to the needs and concerns of internal loan officers, offering customized solutions and resources to facilitate their success.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and systems related to brokered loans, ensuring smooth operations and enhanced efficiency.
- Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to provide valuable insights and support internal decision-making processes.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal loan officers, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively work originate brokered loans.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and compliance requirements, providing timely updates and guidance to internal stakeholders as needed.
- Develop an understanding of regulations around broker activity including compensation and referral bonus structures.
- Monitor and analyze internal performance metrics related to brokered loans, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize internal processes and workflows, ensuring seamless coordination throughout the loan origination process.
- Work closely with other internal departments, including accounting, risk management, and capital market teams, to facilitate efficient loan processing for broker-originated loans.
- Collaborate with colleagues to address any internal challenges or issues, fostering a cohesive and supportive work environment.
SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES

- Filling in gaps of loan manufacturing process for individual broker/lender relationships
- Deliver monthly reports on broker performance (reporting back to management on broker activity)
- Facilitate the onboarding of new lender relationships
