Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading teams to investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances and determine appropriate corrective/preventive actions.
  • Review and approve First Article inspections.
  • Perform product, process and work instruction audits.
  • Lead and participate in various teams in support of the units CORE / six sigma goals.
  • Review and implement various regulatory requirement changes.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to OEM Parts Inspectors.
  • Assist with Escape investigations within Business Units.


Basic Qualifications::
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, or physical sciences with relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or quality
  • US citizenship required due to government contracts


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems
  • Knowledge, proficiency in quality tools such as PFMEA, DFMEA, GR and R, GD and T elements, etc. Experienced in driving CAR and PAR and eliminating non-conformance at the supplier level
  • Practical ACE/Six Sigma experience or other Lean Systems experience a plus
  • Experience in ERP systems such as SAP and lot inspections for QA part acceptance, containment.
  • High energy, dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter with a strong desire to succeed and pursue continued growth and developmental opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with cross functional teams
  • Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner
