The Contracts Manager manages the life cycle of complex commercial aerospace contracts. The Contracts Manager provides advice and counsel to the program team, ensures proper execution of contracts and agreements. Additionally, the Manager ensures compliance with contractual requirements, regulations, corporate policies and best practices.

The Contracts Manager manages the life cycle of complex commercial aerospace contracts. The Contracts Manager provides advice and counsel to the program team, ensures proper execution of contracts and agreements. Primary Responsibilities:
- Act as the subject matter expert on contractual matters, providing the program with advice related to terms, obligations and responsibilities.
- Manage the contractual relationship with the customer, a large aerospace manufacturer.
- Lead the program change management process, including drafting change proposals and seeking internal approvals.
- Negotiate and resolve customer changes and other program issues.
- Ensure proper dissemination of contractual obligations and requirements.
- Focal point for all Legal matters related to the program.
- Protect intellectual property and confidential information through appropriate contract terms and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
- Work with International Trade Compliance to ensure compliance with all import/export regulations.
- Understand and support internal financial goals (milestones, progress payments, payment terms, cash collection, etc.).
- Coordinate hardware demand with the demand management team.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR
- In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder
Preferred Qualifications:
- JD or MBA
- Contract Pricing experience
- SAP experience
