Clinical Informatics Spec (RN) - Nursing Administration

The ideal Registered Nurse for this position would hold a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, live in the state of Maine or New Hampshire and have a passion for technological development. Once trained, this candidate will work completely remote Monday-Friday. This is Full-Time; 40 hours per week position, with no required holidays or weekends. Would prefer the candidate to have at least two years experience.

• Position Summary
  
  • The Clinical Informatics Specialist (CIS) is responsible for integrating healthcare science, computer science, and information science to participate in the analysis, planning, development, training, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of Clinical Information Systems across the organization. Also responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and mentoring of clinical informatics training and education programs.
• Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Nurse required. Epic certifications/credentialed trainer preferred. Certification in Nursing Informatics preferred. Candidates without Epic certification/credentialing are required to obtain certification or credentialed status within 6 months of hire date to permit continued employment.
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical and/or training experience required.
