Vice President of National Sales Software & Technology
A USConnect Vice President of National Sales is responsible for a sales territory over multiple states. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- The primary mission is to develop new Affiliate Operator customer accounts through proactive lead generation from various sources, networking, prospecting, referrals, cold calling, customer visits, sales funnel management. Take prospects through the sales process by addressing their needs and closing new accounts. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue targets by developing territory specific growth plan.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue targets as determined by management by developing and executing territory specific growth plans Meet or exceed prospecting activity expectations as determined by Sales Management.
- Potentially grow existing Affiliate Operator accounts by maintaining strong relationships, understanding customers' business and purchasing needs, proactively identify new opportunities for additional sales opportunities. Update CRM database daily/weekly as directed by Sales Management
- Conduct effective virtual sales as well as in-person sales by traveling through the assigned territory to solicit and secure business from prospective Affiliate Operator customers. Execute appropriate follow-up client meetings to complete the sales process. Display and demonstrate Company products as well as Company technologies.
- Expected daily/weekly CRM database updates for maximum individual and team tool utilization.
- Communicate daily with sales team/management on the status of sales opportunities (funnel), demos, orders, call/activity reporting and Affiliate Operator customer concerns.
- Minimum 50% travel including overnight stays to meet prospects and customers.
- Maintain and develop product and technical knowledge relevant to company's growth strategy.
- Contribute to the overall team effort and other sales related duties may be assigned.

Requirements:
- BS/BA from a 4-year college/university or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 10 years of demonstrated B2B track record of new business enterprise sales
- A hunterDNA thriving to identify, develop, close and grow new customer accounts.
- Willing and ability to travel over 50%, including overnight travel
- High level relationship builder with a proactive customer service mentality
- Demonstrated business and commercial savvy with a strong orientation for sales/profit results.
- High level of professionalism
- Exceptional personal organization
- Demonstrated ability to work self-directed and in a cross functional organization and to manage internal and external resources by influence.
- Proficient computer skills including office suite, remote meeting tools and other PM tools.
- Strong personal responsibility and ambition to grow and pivot as opportunities arise
