We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. This role involves securing our cloud-based products, auditing security tools, updating security documentation, and working closely with development teams to address vulnerabilities. Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Security, Computer Science) or a mix of development and security/risk analysis competencies.
- Basic understanding of networking, SaaS hosting practices, and SQL
- Understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python, Javascript).
- Knowledge of cloud security practices and automation.
- Experience with security frameworks and best practices.
The following is also desirable:
- We are particularly focused on improving cloud security within the application security (AppSec) domain and related experience is desirable.
- Information/Cyber Security certifications such as CISSP or CompTIA+.
- Experience with source control systems such as Team Foundation Server or Git.
- Experience using an agile development process.
- Proven track record of learning new technologies.
