Job Responsibilities
Lead the development of the product strategy and roadmaps for Mercury Financial's digital platforms.
You define the strategic product outlook and the long-term plan to achieve it, ensuring you are working backwards from customers and using data analysis to guide you.
Collaborate with Software Engineering, Design, and Data Science Teams to define the product roadmap, feature/functionality development, use cases, and market opportunities.
Manage delivery of current digital products concurrently with future product planning.
Manage the execution of initiatives from ideation through launch, while setting and managing the right expectations with all relevant stakeholders.
Regularly review metrics and proactively seek out new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility, ensuring your program stays aligned with organization goals.
You will create success measurements linked to financials and user experience, set goal targets for these measurements, and are responsible for communication and reporting.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, design, marketing, engineering, communication, or similar fields.
5+ years of product management experience building/launching consumer tech products/services.
3+ years of mobile platform (iOS/Android) and web-based management experience.
Experience using voice of customer data and analytics to design a digital experience.
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights.
Demonstrated success leading through influence, without direct authority, building engagement, and partnering across organizations at the highest level, including engineering and design teams.
History of supporting decisions through business analysis and data, while supporting a balance with intuition and creativity.
Experience with conceptualizing complex interrelated applications and system platforms, as well as the ability to communicate those systems to non-technical team members and business partners.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, developers, business owners, and senior business leaders.
