    Primary Responsibilities
    The Supply Chain Systems Lead - Transportation role predominantly supports the Inbound Transportation team within Supply Chain. The role also supports other functions within Supply Chain like Replenishment, Solutions and cross functional involvement with Outbound Transportation, DC Operations and external vendor partners. The role provides support for on-going continuous improvement projects as well as future strategic supply chain project initiatives
    Essential Functions
    • Develop and implement the Transportation Systems Roadmap for KeHE.
    • Evaluate and assess current and future Supply Chain systems need for Transportation
    • Team up with the Process and Training leader to ensure that training is developed to support the Transportation best practices and strategies.
    • Thorough understanding of all system capabilities regarding Transportation Management Systems
    • Working and hands on knowledge to reduce Transportation cost and Increase customer service.
    • Understand the Software Development and Implementation Lifecycle and provide guidance to System Leads and Analysts around Design of the solution, testing scenarios, engaging with the Load Planners to perform UAT, etc.
    • Troubleshoot Transportation System issues and maintain communication with all Load Planners and other partners within and outside of Supply Chain.
    • Owner to manage all inputs and parameters in Transportation systems like Routing, Rating, Transit Time lane, Carrier parameters, etc
    • Owner of configuration of all business rules to optimize transportation and create ideal and efficient shipments that yields us best cost and service.
    • Owner of extended configuration aspects on resequencing stops, removing order from shipment, deconsolidating shipment, updating carrier cost, tendering assignment, etc.
    • Integrate Manhattan TMS with other optimization modules for Transportation like Arrowstream/Crossbow.
    • Partner with the Process and Training team and be able to articulate impact on processes with capability changes and assist in streamlining internal Supply Chain and cross functional processes
    • Continuous support to Customer Onboarding team to ensure smooth onboarding is done to provide the best customer experience. Also, support DC openings and closings to meet all business goals around Inventory, Customer Service and Spoils.
    • Ongoing measurement of systems stability, data accuracy, and processes that drive efficiencies for the organization and the partners we support
    • Work cross functionally with Sales, Category Management, DC Ops and other functions within KeHE and drive engagement to improve Supply Chain KPIs.
    • Other duties and projects as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
    • A four-year college degree in Business or related field is required.
    • 3 to 5 years of experience with Transportation Management Systems.
    • Basic understanding of transportation, warehousing, supply-chain execution software and third-party logistics.
    • 15-20% travel required.
    • Strong analytical and thinking skills.
    • Ability to learn new skills.
    • Possess a sense of urgency and attention to accuracy and detail.
    • Ability to manage large volumes of data.
    • Talent communicating effectively both orally and in writing with people at all organizational levels.
    • Ability to effectively manage a wide variety of tasks simultaneously and often with time conflicting pressures.
    • Demonstrated ability to work productively and effectively as part of a team.
