Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Perform physical examinations and order diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests, imaging studies, and electrocardiograms.
• Prescribe medications and other therapeutic interventions as appropriate.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to evidence-based practice guidelines.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
• Stay current with advancements in medical knowledge and best practices through continuous professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current unrestricted state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited certifying body (e.g., American Nurses Credentialing Center, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners).
• Prior experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care or family practice setting is preferred.
• Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other relevant medical software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
