If you are someone who has a passion for solving complex and critical technology and business problems through the optimal use of the Salesforce platform, enjoys working closely with a collaborative team and for clients of varying industries and sizes, the Salesforce consultant role at Kenway Consulting is right for you! As a Salesforce Consultant, you will help design, configure, code, test, implement, enhance and support clients on their Salesforce platform.
In addition to being responsible for developing high-performing solutions on the Salesforce platform, this resource will be able to provide advanced business analysis functions, conduct needs assessments, configure apps as required, and assist in other key functions involving client and staff development, training, and ongoing client support.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Implement custom Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices
Execute custom Salesforce platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components), integrations with back-office systems (often using middleware tools) and complex data migrations
Own and execute complex Salesforce configuration and customization centric scope to support process automation
Build and extend the Salesforce platform using process builder, flows, and workflow rules
Assist in documenting and validating application code against unit tests, security tests, and profiling tools
Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during different stages of project delivery
Support processes promoting data integrity, data governance and compliance
With project leadership, assist in the estimation of work effort and set a realistic schedule for development
Mentor junior employees and teach clients the basics of Salesforce development and usage
Qualifications, Skills & Credentials
Basic Qualifications
Preferred bachelor's degree with technical focus, but other degrees will be considered with applicable experience
A minimum of 1-year experience with technical customization on the Salesforce platform, which should include: Lightning Components using the Lightning Design System framework, Apex, Apex data loader, and declarative platform tools (I.e., Process Builder, Visual Workflow, Lightning App Builder, etc.)
Minimum of 1-year experience in one of the following specialty clouds: Marketing Cloud, Health Cloud, Financial Service Cloud, CPQ, or Data Cloud
Preferred Skills
Experience with common JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular JS, React, etc.
Experience developing for Salesforce Communities (I.e., Experience Cloud) and Lightning App Builder
Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and be a creative technical leader within a team
Knowledge of Cloud Computing (SaaS, PaaS, iPaaS) and Salesforce, either through work with industry participants or consulting to the industry
Experience with Einstein, Marketing Cloud, and Tableau Analytics is preferred
A minimum of 1-year experience with programming Languages - APEX, Visualforce
Experience with VS Code, Eclipse, GitHub, CI/CD is preferred
