Supply Chain Manager, Interior Modules Costing

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager who will support the Interior Direct Procurement team by developing advanced Should-Cost Models, analytical tools and systems to ensure we can make first principles-based decision on spend. This role will provide exposure and opportunities to collaborate with a wide range of business functions including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Design and Finance. Responsibilities

• Develop ground up based Should-Cost Models for multiple commodities, across several different manufacturing processes and product sets
• Understand manufacturing processes and related CapEx, tooling, labor, raw material costs and other inputs needed to manufacture components that drive cost
• Create databases and systems to be able to track cost and spend data, at both the CapEx and component level
• Develop and track program spend and report outwards regarding budget status
• Work cross-functionally with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance
• Standardize reporting of cost down initiatives between Engineering and Finance
• Ensure cost down projects have resources appropriately allocated and are meeting timelines dictated by Program Management; identify trends in current costing to help inform current and future design decisions

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, evidence of experience and exceptional ability, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in supply chain management, or commodity management
• Technical and commercial understanding of tooling and manufacturing processes
• Experience with mechanical engineering concepts related to the automotive interiors and ability to generate bottom-up should costs based on the understanding of manufacturing process
• Proficient knowledge of technical requirements and design of the product and be able to influence cross functional partners with detailed analysis that supports optimized pricing and product sourcing decisions
• Excellent negotiator, collaborator, and communicator

Expected Compensation$72,000 - $264,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefitsPay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
