The Electronic Systems Sector Finance team helps position the sector to deliver on its financial commitments, provides early insight into business performance, and aspires to deliver effective data analytics that enable sound business decisions. The Financial Analyst Principal is part of the Electronic Systems Sector Finance team, who will work with finance leads across the sector to analyze and forecast the balance sheet for both the US Defense reporting entity and the Sector.

The individual will:
  • Lead the US Defense Segment and ES Sector balance sheet forecast and analysis.
  • Work with the Sector Finance team to deliver balance sheet and related requirements to Electronic Systems Sector Leadership, BAE Systems Inc and Plc.
  • Utilize business intelligence to advance the balance sheet forecasting and analysis process.
  • Lead the financial reporting for the US Defense Segment
  • Support all Sector reporting requirements.

This role can be performed in a full-time remote capacity. While the position is full-time remote there will be multiple face-to-face team meetings throughout the year, likely in southern NH (Nashua area).

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related degree and 6+ years of applicable professional experience
  • Leadership of projects and activities with peers/coworkers
  • Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills
  • Analyses of balance sheets
  • Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated focus on data integrity and meeting deadlines, with accurate and complete work products
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team structure
Pursuant to a specific US Government contract, selected individual must be a US Person.

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning module/application would be beneficial in this role.
  • Preferred experience with balance sheet and income statement.
