Position Summary:

The Director of Revenue Cycle Management oversees billing, claims, and collections, and supervises the Billing and Collections staff. They manage all operational, financial, and personnel activities related to Revenue Cycle, ensuring alignment with Roseman University's College of Dental Medicine's goals. This role also handles day-to-day operations, budgeting, and collaborates with university leaders on financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage patient accounts receivable, daily deposits, and financial reports to correct billing errors.
  • Oversee daily operations of the Business Office, including Registration, Medical Records, Accounts Receivable/Payable, and Insurance Verification.
  • Supervise and reassign Business Office staff as needed based on workload demands.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and oversee insurance credentialing and collections.
  • Work with Associate Dean, Clinical Education, to manage EHR workflow and clinical business services.
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve operational success, financial outcomes, and data integrity.
  • Supervise the Revenue Cycle Management team and ensure compliance with audit procedures.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant records related to operations and services.
  • Develop and implement new policies to improve workflow accuracy and resolve conflicts.
  • Ensure reliable, on-site presence with a 40+ hour workweek and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration or equivalent work experience as an office manager of a dental practice; minimum of 8 years' experience managing the financial operations of a dental practice, academic clinic, or government-related clinical institution; or any combination of education, experience and training which provides the following Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Preferred candidates should have an in-depth understanding of clinical business operations, with knowledge and experience in a dental clinic setting
