Weekly Pay Range - $1954 To $2171
Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: Epic experienceJob Description:- Provide nursing care for medically delicate and surgically complex patients.- Handle conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications.- Be competent in the care of medical and surgical populations, advanced hemodynamics including pressor usage per titration protocols.- Administer antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, and monitor a-line, CVP, EVD, ortho traction.- Implement infection prevention protocols.- Manage HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxypendent.- Handle an average patient load of 3 high acuity patients.- Not eligible for block schedule from Monday to Wednesday; weekend track schedule blocks accepted.
