BD Solution Architect

Job Opportunity: Our team is seeking a talented BD Solutions Architect to work in our Reston, VA location.

What You'll Get to Do as a BD Solutions Architect:

• As a BD Solution Architect, you will work within the business development team to provide technical subject matter expertise in the development of customer and market penetration strategies through the analysis, design, and solutioning approaches to meet target client requirements and objectives.
• You will take part in proposal writing efforts to define the technical solutions and coordinate with proposal managers while taking a leadership role in the proposal solutioning efforts
• Working with client-facing and technical leadership, you will be responsible for defining innovative, client-focused software technical solutions.
• You will be required to stay abreast of new standards and technologies, making recommendations for the adoption and development of technical capabilities for potential infusion into current client engagements and offerings.
• You will assist in transition management during contract start up providing technical solution consulting as well as support other client facing needs

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen to obtain a Government Security Clearance
• B.S. degree in computer science or related discipline with at least 8 years of experience
• The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and communicator and is able to convey technical concepts in simple and clear narratives.
• Experience developing information technology software solutions and architectures in accordance with open standards and federal enterprise architectures.
• Software development experience
• Advanced degree in related discipline desired
• Experience with technical leadership including experience within an Agile/Scrum team environment with large, cross functional teams
• Experience managing and prioritize backlogs for technical teams
• Experience providing technical leadership on full technology stack including Cloud-based systems using AWS, software solution development and delivery projects using the agile methodology for multiple federal government agencies.
• Excellent ability to prepare and present high quality technical briefings and presentations to government clients.
• Excellent ability to communicate technical solution concepts through development of white papers, requests for information, and technical proposals.
• Experience continuously updating and maintaining knowledge of emerging technologies and their supported, successful technology stack integrations.
• Experience with streamlined acquisition process and the ability to provide leadership for non-traditional technical proposals, including.

• Code or Product Submission as part of a larger solicitation/ evaluation process in support of a proposal offering
• Technical Demonstrations / Technical Challenges / Product Demonstrations as part of a larger solicitation/evaluation process in support of a proposal offering
• Experience leading a technical team through preparation, development, customization and execution of non-traditional proposals including.
• Skills and labor category alignment
• Agile team leadership
• Technical leadership (process, tools and platform level)
• Acting as the client product owner for technical challenge practice sessions, leading and directing the technical response
• Ensuring that the technical platform meets client tech stack requirements
