What We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will understand a broad range of IT Support platforms with exceptional customer support for internal clients as well as management skills to bring EnSafe to new levels of cutting-edge technology. This candidate will need to be adaptable to new federal policies and regulations since EnSafe is a federal contractor.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of EnSafe's network and security architecture, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices
  • Monitor and secure network components, including VPNs, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and Azure VPCs
  • Perform server administration tasks (e.g., user/group management, security permissions, group policies, print services), including Azure Cloud, VM Servers, and local AD servers
  • Monitor data-center health using existing management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise
  • Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network security solutions and related monitoring tools, including L2/L3 network security devices, IDS/IPS, full packet capture, DLP, and endpoint protection solutions
  • Manage and optimize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to ensure comprehensive security visibility and incident detection
  • Engage in the full system engineering life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, integration, and documentation of infrastructure and tools
  • Ensure timely resolution of audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements related to network and security infrastructure
  • Stay current with emerging security threats, industry trends, and new technologies, recommending and implementing improvements as needed
  • Work directly with IT (data management, O365, analytics, service desk, and GIS) and EnSafe Leadership

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 9+ years of experience in network administration, cybersecurity, and IT risk management, including at least 3 years focused on enterprise security solutions like CrowdStrike Falcon and Microsoft Defender
  • 3+ years of team leadership experience in an IT or cybersecurity role
  • Proven experience in infrastructure support, including networking, telecommunications, and data center management
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing, with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 administration, including Entra, Exchange, and Purview
  • Demonstrated experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, virtualization technologies, and enterprise backup and recovery procedures
  • Working knowledge of programming languages (PowerShell and/or Python) and operating systems relevant to EnSafe's infrastructure
  • Proven track record in project management, particularly in infrastructure design and integration projects
  • Current Security+, Network+, or equivalent Microsoft certifications
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, and DFARS.
