Position Summary:The Martin Tuchman School of Management at New Jersey Institute of Technologyinvites applications for a full-time Senior University position in accountingbeginning in the 2025-2026 Academic Year. Candidates must have earned theirdoctorate in accounting or related discipline, preferably from an AACSBaccredited school. Successful candidates must demonstrate a record of scholarlyaccomplishment and a commitment to contributing original research into leadingpeer-reviewed publications. The individual must have completed the doctorate attime of appointment in September 2025.
Essential Functions:- The main duties of the position include teaching, research andservice/outreach. The teaching load is 4 classes per semester.
- The candidate must demonstrate a record of scholarly accomplishment and acommitment to contributing original research into leading peer reviewedpublications.
- The faculty is also expected to actively engage in various Program, School,and Institute committees and participate in community service. Excellentinterpersonal, communication and management skills are also required.
- The candidate must be capable of delivering excellent instruction in a fullarray of courses, face-to-face and online, at the undergraduate and graduatelevels.
Prerequisite Qualifications:- Applicants must have a doctorate degree by September 2025 inaccounting or related discipline, preferably from an AACSB accreditedschool, and outstanding academic credentials that demonstrate their ability toconduct independent world-class research.
- The successful candidate is also expected to show a commitment to bothundergraduate and graduate education.
- At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisitesmay be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of theuniversity, an equivalent combination of education and experience specificallypreparing the candidate for success in the position.
