Job Description
The Project Manager will partner with Architects and Designers to manage overall project quality, financial performance, and project schedules. They will also serve as the contact for all internal and external client communication. Project Managers will oversee and guide the day-to-day work of staff assigned to their project teams. The Project Manager has the opportunity to take on a leadership role in the firm.

Job Description
The Project Manager will partner with Architects and Designers to manage overall project quality, financial performance, and project schedules. The Project Manager has the opportunity to take on a leadership role in the firm.
Responsibilities (others may be assigned):
- Lead team to establish and monitor project schedules and budgets that efficiently use resources and result in profitability
- Plan and monitor billable hours for the project. Make adjustments as needed.
- Establish roles and responsibilities for project team members and define expectations at the start of project. At each design phase (SD/DD/CD) review responsibilities with team members and evaluate successfulness. Make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to execute project plans, monitor plans, alert team members to changes in project scope, prepare project history, and collaborate in closing out projects
- Orchestrate quality assurance and quality control milestones, ensure project compliance, and lead team members to review project specific errors/omissions and assist with resolutions
- Review and ensure compliance with all state and local planning, zoning and development requirements, including building codes, zoning requirements, fire department requirements and local ordinances.
- Plan, monitor and control technical costs and scheduled performance, review project financial reports to achieve project profit goals
- Coordinate, plan, prepare and lead all internal team project meetings throughout the duration of project.
- Coordinate schedules and activities of multiple team members, resources and consultants to maintain a successful project work plan.
- Communicate with internal and external team members on project status, using ability to modify message and medium as appropriate to intended audience
- Prepare project presentations and participate in and/or lead client presentations
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships
- Define marketing opportunities, follow up on project possibilities, create proposals, and assist in negotiating contracts to establish scope of work, schedule and budget
- Coach and mentor staff to achieve goals for projects. Provide work direction and input to project team members.
- Provide performance feedback to team members. Offer input to senior leadership on staff promotions and hiring and recruiting processes
Job Requirements
Desired Qualifications/Knowledge:
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Architecture
- Licensed Architect preferred
- 10 years architectural or design experience
- Advanced knowledge of project design and execution
- Strong aptitude in planning and design with strong technical documentation skills
- Ability to coordinate and integrate work with designers, engineers, construction administrators, consultants and any other members of the project team
- Ability to manage multiple projects of a complex scope
- Knowledge of Revit, Enscape Excel, Deltek Vision, and Newforma desired
- Ability to travel to and from the office to client/job sites. Valid Drivers License and access to insured vehicle during business hours.
- Experience coaching and mentoring others
- Able to modify communications, both oral and written based on the intended audience: team members, clients, vendors, leadership, etc.
- Experience in negotiations and creating/delivering presentations
