Technical Analyst II - Service Delivery
This is an Exempt level position.
Position Summary:
The Service Delivery Organization is committed to business technology support, service management, risk management, and relationship management in support of all applications and infrastructure towers. As a member of the Service Delivery Organization, the Technical Analyst II will work closely with the Service Delivery Leader, Systems Analysts, Business Users, and Application and Infrastructure support teams to develop, document, and deliver process and systems solutions which enable ADM's strategy.
This role will be focused on the North American IBM Mainframe, serving as a technical analyst to learn and support Financial, Sales and Inventory systems, with the goal of progressing to expert in at least one system over time.

Technical Analyst II - Service Delivery

Position Summary:

This role will be focused on the North American IBM Mainframe, serving as a technical analyst to learn and support Financial, Sales and Inventory systems, with the goal of progressing to expert in at least one system over time.
Job Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, testing and deploying new system enhancements and maintaining existing system functionality with minimal supervision from Sr staff
- Provide technical design assistance and review of small or medium enhancements and projects with minimal supervision from Sr staff
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards across applications
- Write detailed technical designs for business requests, partnering with business and GT teams as needed
- Participate in technical assessments of 3rd party solutions
- Provide support for merger and acquisition efforts.
- Provide regular and accurate status updates and other documentation to management and team members for assigned work
- 4+ years programming experience with demonstrated increase in responsibilities
- Proficient with COBOL in mainframe environment
- Database experience with IMS/DB, DB2 and VSAM
- Significant CICS experience
- MVS JCL experience
- Exhibits ability to work both in a geographically diverse team environment and independently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong analytical, organization, time management, facilitation, and process management skills
- Demonstrated high level of written, verbal and interpersonal skills to communicate technical and non-technical information, ideas, procedures and processes.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, and with all levels of the organization and cope with rapidly changing information
- Ability to evaluate and negotiate priorities and adapt to new/evolving individual and team assignments as adjustments are needed
- Maintains a positive work environment through teamwork & conflict resolution
- Strong problem resolution, judgement and decision making skills
- Bachelor's degree related to Information Systems, Business or other relevant academic discipline with a minimum 4 years job experience in IT or process area(s) preferred
