We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Manager to oversee and optimize our maintenance operations, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our printing machinery, facilities, and equipment.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of the printing machinery, facilities, and other equipment. This role involves planning, coordinating, and directing maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, to minimize downtime and ensure a safe working environment. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager will play a critical role in managing the capital expenditure (CAPEX) budget to ensure strategic investments in maintenance and equipment upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Management:
  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

2. Preventive Maintenance:
  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all printing equipment and facilities.
  • Schedule and coordinate regular maintenance activities to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

3. Troubleshooting and Repair:
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues with printing machinery and equipment.
  • Coordinate and perform repairs promptly to minimize production downtime.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance.

4. Inventory Management:
  • Manage the inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies required for maintenance activities.
  • Ensure timely procurement of parts and materials to avoid delays in maintenance work.

5. Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including cost control and forecasting.
  • Optimize maintenance expenditures while maintaining high standards of equipment reliability.
  • Manage the capital expenditure (CAPEX) budget for maintenance and equipment upgrades.
  • Identify and justify CAPEX projects, including the replacement or upgrade of machinery, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Prepare detailed CAPEX proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and return on investment (ROI) analysis.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and financial performance of CAPEX projects.

6. Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in maintenance management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology.

7. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and repair history.
  • Prepare regular reports on maintenance performance, including downtime analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Track and report on CAPEX budget utilization and project outcomes.

8. Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Promote a culture of safety and conduct regular safety training for the maintenance team.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a printing or manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of printing machinery, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience in managing CAPEX budgets, including project justification, cost estimation, and ROI analysis.

Working Conditions:
  • This role will work in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to address urgent maintenance issues or oversee major repairs.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
