Process Engineer will develop and implement new production processes and improvements to existing processes.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement manufacturing processes that meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate initial off-tool builds and manufacturing launch efforts to support customer needs.
- Design and specify tooling and gages. Coordinate manufacture and/or purchase of tooling and gages.
- Specify new equipment and coordinate new equipment installation and run off.
- Document machine and process instructions and train operators.
- Determine root cause and implement corrective actions for non-conforming product.
- Increase profitability through implementation of new technology and continuous improvement of existing products and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree or 10 years applicable experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing environment
- Proficient in Creo or Solidworks
- Proficient in the English language both written and verbal. Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret documents, drawings, and specifications.
