Overview

Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated firm designated one of the "Best Companies to Work For" among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking an experienced, energetic, and passionate Department Head of IT to join the leadership team.

The Department Head of IT is responsible for:
Overseeing and directing the delivery of IT services to all the firm employees, including all desktop, network, and cloud infrastructure, as well as maintaining a strong relationship with our Infrastructure partners.
Works closely with the Leadership team to establish project priorities, creating reliable, secure, and cost-effective information technology infrastructure to support the firm's objectives.
Collaborating with business colleagues to inform their strategy development and jointly develop "technology forward" approaches to maximize impact, in alignment with the firm's vision.
Managing, training and developing the IT team through SLAs and KPIs.
Leading the development and implementation of the firm's technology strategies, systems, and processes.
Cyber security, information security, compliance of IT systems, maintaining a Disaster Recovery Plan, and ensuring all company assets are protected at all times.

A successful candidate must have a deep understanding of IT and technology trends, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for driving innovation and collaboration. The Department Head of IT will manage the information technology resources and projects, while acting as a liaison between business partners, vendors, and consultants.

Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of Networking, cyber security, infrastructure, cloud computing, system development lifecycles, and project management.
Deep understanding of service management and/or helpdesk processes and execution.
Management and supervisory skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

The total annual compensation for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
