Chick-fil-A Liberty is searching for a seasoned Business Development Director to take our catering sales to the next level!

Our Business Development Director will play a key role in driving revenue through the sale of catering services for events and special occasions. The ideal candidate should have a strong sales background, and excellent communication skills. This position will be responsible for promoting and selling catering services, generating sales leads, building and maintaining client relationships, coordinating event details and logistics, negotiating contracts and pricing, collaborating with culinary and operations teams, ensuring client satisfaction, and analyzing market trends.

Expected Hours: 40+ hours/week

Expected Schedule: Flexible schedule required Monday through Friday. Some Saturday availability may be needed.

Compensation Method: Hourly Wage plus Quarterly Bonus Plan

Reports To: Executive Director

Responsibilities:

Responsible for creating strategy and developing relationships to create catering sales growth as a percentage of total sales.
  • Spend the vast majority of your time selling CFA Liberty catering products outside of the restaurant.
  • Lead the development and implementations of strategies to focus on growth of catering sales.
  • Coordinate with other operational Directors to explore best practices to grow catering sales.
  • Track the effort of catering business development activities to evaluate what works and what doesn't.
  • Sets and manages catering and business development ROCKS

Act as the main point of contact for repeat catering guests.
  • Manages both the email and phone calls coming in from repeat catering guests.
  • Manage all fundraising customers to ensure they are following our standards.
  • Ensure that Operations Coordinators and Team Leads know how to take catering orders in the store.

Create and manage Spotlight campaigns
  • Work with the leadership team to determine what the target of the Spotlight campaigns should be.
  • Create unique and repeating campaigns and track stats to determine effectiveness.
  • Communicate with out Team about campaigns that will impact operations

Manage marketing budgets to spend at target but not exceed budget amount

Represent CFA Liberty by developing community and business relationships
  • Focus on activities that could develop relationships with business who could become future catering or Additional Distribution Points (ADP) customers.

Continually be looking for innovative outside revenue opportunities.

Creatively look for ways to gain sales outside of the four walls of the restaurant.

Requirements
  • You must have at least 3-5 years of direct sales experience.
  • You must have a proven track record of meeting sales goals.
  • You must be able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate your client needs.
