Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Business Development & Engagement (CWC), the Senior Manager of Apprentice Experience will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic partnerships between school districts, schools, business partners, and, most importantly, students in Colorado. The Senior Manager will be accountable for providing comprehensive support to youth apprentices throughout their apprenticeship.

Location:
This role is based in Denver, Colorado. CareerWise staff typically work a hybrid work schedule with varying days in the office and other days remote. Remote work is not guaranteed and the schedule must be approved by the supervisor. There will also be occasions throughout the year for all CareerWise staff to gather together in person. Exceptions will be made for special circumstances.
Compensation:
The starting salary range for this role is: $74,263 (min) - $95,481 (max) annually; this role is not covered by the minimum wage and overtime provisions of the FLSA. CareerWise offers a generous benefits package including group medical, dental, and vision plans, short-term disability, 100% vested 401k plan with a 3% employer contribution, and flexible time off.

The Senior Manager will be accountable for providing comprehensive support to youth apprentices throughout their apprenticeship.
What You'll Be Doing:
- STUDENT ENGAGEMENT & APPRENTICESHIP SUCCESS | You will strategize and develop student-centered engagement techniques to attract and retain students participating in the CWC Youth Apprenticeship program. You will also develop and implement strategies to support the placement of apprentices, apprentice success, and workplace preparedness.
- CASE MANAGEMENT | By fostering interactions with students interested in youth apprenticeship, you will be responsible for leading the case management process where you will track data in our CRM (Salesforce). You will enter detailed case notes after providing individualized support, guidance, assistance, or advocacy to, or on behalf of, CWC apprentices.
- COMMUNICATOR | You will use your communication and listening skills to understand stakeholder needs and will collaborate with internal and external partners to strategize ways to address wraparound support services for apprentices and apprenticeship stakeholders.
- APPRENTICE EXPERIENCE INNOVATOR | You explore opportunities to enhance program offerings or to pilot new, promising apprenticeship experiences and find ways for youth apprenticeship to meet the evolving needs of students and partner districts. You enthusiastically offer ideas in partnership with internal programs/pathways staff and brainstorm possible barriers and potential students/industries that could partner in a pilot opportunity.
- MEASURING SUCCESS | You will manage and report youth apprenticeship participation using participation data, outcomes, placements, etc. while looking for ways to continuously improve the apprenticeship experience.
- May perform other duties as assigned

- You have successfully coordinated multi-stakeholder projects
- You have solid data analysis abilities and a track record of being able to use the data to drive decisions and grow successful outcomes
- Excellent communicator and skilled listener

Additional proficiencies:
- You have experience - or are interested in gaining experience - in leading, managing, and developing staff that are growing in their roles at CWC
- You intentionally stay up-to-date on Colorado Department of Education initiatives and know how to weave youth apprenticeship into these initiatives (Examples: ICAP, CTE, work-based learning, youth apprenticeship, etc.)
- You have a proactive and creative mind when considering program enhancements or additional apprenticeship experiences to grow successful outcomes
- Experience using and optimizing the capabilities of a CRM and databases (preferably Salesforce)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and project management software (like Monday.com)
- Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Ability to understand and interpret the multiple complexities of the evolving youth apprenticeship movement
