Summary:

The Enterprise Infrastructure Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the enterprise infrastructure systems and services that support the business needs and objectives of the organization. This is a non-supervisory role. The role will also involve commissioning systems to specification for systems and technology, process automation, power distribution and other key projects as requested, as well as bringing the Datacenter and Networking Team up to speed from a technical perspective after all commissioning projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop enterprise infrastructure architecture and standards that align with the business goals and requirements.
Plan and execute infrastructure projects, including commissioning, migration, integration, upgrade, and optimization of systems and services.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Datacenter and Networking Team, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge to support and maintain the enterprise infrastructure after commissioning.
Collaborate with other IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the security, availability, performance, and scalability of the enterprise infrastructure.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues and incidents also implement solutions and improvements.
Research and evaluate innovative technologies and solutions that can enhance the enterprise infrastructure capabilities and efficiency.
Document the enterprise infrastructure in the CMDB, in Visio, Confluence and any other method requested by IT leadership or business stakeholders.
Providing project milestones and updates to the project management team and other IT senior leadership.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 15 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure architecture, design, and implementation.
Expert knowledge of infrastructure technologies and platforms, such as servers, storage, network, virtualization, automation, and backup.
Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate complex and cross-functional infrastructure projects.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues and incidents.
Certifications in relevant infrastructure technologies and frameworks, such as AWS, Azure, Cisco, VMware, ITIL, etc., are preferred.
