Leidos us seeking candidates for our Systems Analyst position that supports the 526th Intelligence Squadron (526 IS) at Nellis AFB, NV. This position is part of a large Military Intelligence Program supporting the USAF Air Combat Command (ACC) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Position is responsible for working with a Modeling and Simulation team to determine, analyze, and develop requirements for software systems through interpreting standards, specifications, and user needs as a system analyst
  • Provide project management to maintain and control the scope, budget, schedules, resources, risk,and issue resolution in compliance with guidelines to include but not limited to Cloud and Web Architecture; Content Management; Load Balancing; High Availability Integration; API and Web Service Management; Database Architecture; Performance Tuning; Content Distribution; Software Design; and Technology Evaluation
  • Collaborates with customer's technical leads regarding requirement elicitation, and documentation and acceptance criteria in fast-paced agile environment
  • Makes daily product decisions, works on a collaborative team, pairs with team members, and helps ensure user satisfaction using Lean and Agile methodologies. Understands user needs and solves the right problems to deliver new or improved products and services that meet the needs of the Air Force
  • Translate user requirements into technical solutions
  • Ensures compliance with DoD directives and standards for security and interoperability
  • Troubleshoot software errors and technical issues in development, QA, and production environments
  • Perform Windows 10 and 11 systems administration including performance tuning, system availability, capacity planning, provisioning, and security
  • Track all work in designated systems (such as Remedy, Serena or ServiceNOW); ensure completeness and accuracy of tickets
  • Deploy, setup, and maintain customer-furnished computer systems
  • Set up, administer, and service user accounts across multiple networks and client environments
  • Provide service to end-users for operation, restoration, and configuration of information systems
  • Troubleshoot system and software problems

Basic Qualifications
  • BS degree and 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of
  • experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Must have a current Top Secret SCI security clearance.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Proficiency with web application technologies, Web Content Management System (WCSM) and Amazone Web Services (AWS)
  • Understanding and experience performing programming functions such as designing, coding, testing, or documenting software
  • Knowledge of Agile/Lean Development methodologies
  • Experience with Powershell, C#, Python, .Net and Java/JavaScript
  • Expertise in one or more areas of IT, such as Microsoft OS administration (Windows 10 and 11, Server 2016, etc.) and NetIQ Directory and Resource Administration (DRA)
  • Proven skills in systems repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills in a multi-user high pressure environment
  • Experience in data cabling and computer facilities maintenance
  • Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, email, SSL, OSI model and TCP/IP protocols and applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (in person and via phone/radio) with peers and management
  • Understanding of DevOps best practices
  • Must be willing and able to lift 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Modeling and Simulation Experience with SQL Server, PowerShell Scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, Cloud Automation, Rest API, JSON, SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Ansible, and other Microsoft development tools
  • Previous working experience with the Air Force Intelligence Community (AFIC)
  • Working experience with GIS such as ArcGIS, RemoteView, Google Map, FADE/MIST, Modern Air Combat Environment, Automated Scripter Simulator Exercise Trainer, and any spatial database related software
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline and tools
  • Working experience deploying software in an OnPrem and Cloud environment is required (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Improve upon and further integrate the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC) into product design and engineering efforts
  • Currently possess or able to obtain DoD 8570 certification at CompTIA Security+ CE or higher.

Pay Range: Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
