The Interim Deputy Director has pedagogical and operational responsibilities in kindergarten and elementary school, according to the tasks assigned to him by the Director. Responsibilities fall in the areas of administrative, daily operations, financial, licensing, communication with faculty, communication with parents, program development, and enrollment.

Qualifications
This position requires a Titulaire de l'Education Nationale or a Bachelor's degree or higher in Primary (Kindergarten and / or Elementary) Education.
Must be qualified as a Director as mandated by MSDE requirements.
Experience
Experience teaching preschool or elementary aged children. Experience in a French School preferred. Excellent oral and written communication in French and English preferred. Strong and confident technology and computer skills.

- Manages primary school operations.
- Develops strong relationships with families, students, and staff.
- Facilitates, implements, and assists with the development of a standard school curriculum in all content areas.
- Implements and maintains policies, procedures, and recordkeeping that meet the MEN and MSDE guidelines and the School's requirements.
- Manages employees by coaching, mentoring, and providing timely feedback and evaluation.
- Manages the School's operational budget.
- Ensures programming meets requirements, is age appropriate, developmentally appropriate, and keeps students moving forward in their learning.
- Analyzes, reports, and interprets student performance data and makes recommendations for instructional improvement.
- Plans and leads special events, graduations, open houses, and parent conferences.
- Assists with special projects related to marketing the School.
- Keeps abreast of research and development in the field of childhood development.
- Serves on Rochambeau task forces and committees.
- Commits to Rochambeau's vision mission, values, and strategic aims.
