Description:
The District of Columbia Bar has an opening for the Salesforce Developer. This position will apply technical expertise to design and develop customized Salesforce solutions in accordance with business requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the Salesforce applications of the Bar, specifically Nimble (Association Management System) and Litify (Legal Case Management System); Provide technical support for customer relationship management (CRM), events, fundraising, and membership.
Manage the user setup, design and configuration of custom objects, custom fields, users, profiles and roles, workflow rules/process builder, visual flows, permission sets, sharing settings, validation rules, approval processes, email alerts, role-based page layouts.
Develop standard database reports and customize Nimble reports, using the internal reporting or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to develop new Salesforce functionalities and integrate with other tools. Work on enhancements of the developed Salesforce software applications which will reduce operation time or improve business efficiency.
Create and modify existing stored procedures. Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), end user software documentation, and training materials including quick reference guides.
Perform testing and quality assurance checks on internal development and development activities of partners. Partner with the business units to identify data quality and data integrity issues and implement solutions to improve data.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum a Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in a technical discipline.
Minimum two years of proven experience in Salesforce administration and development.
Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.

Must be detail oriented and deadline driven. Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Must work well in a team environment and be able to interact, including in-person, with Bar members, volunteers, vendors, the public and Bar employees.
Must work well under pressure, possess excellent organizational abilities, and able to manage several priorities in a day.
Must be adaptable, creative, and self-motivated.
Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
