Description:
Support the PCE to define objectives and associated milestones, work breakdown structures, schedules and costs on focused projects or work packages involving several functions.
Conduct activities following the rules of Project Management and in accordance with company procedures
Manage on behalf of the PCE the achievement of the objectives of the defined project
Liaise with functions and ensure reporting to PCE
Support the PCE to challenge solutions proposed by Engineering functions
Propose actions to improve the performance of the product
Manage the performance of the repair process for the products
Coordination, in support of the Customer Services Team, of the engineering activities resulting of major in-service problems resolution.
Conduct any Product Improvement project identified by Chief Engineers Office
Management of product evolutions following customer or internal requirements
Coordination of products CMM update to improve repair process performance
Monitoring of Design-To-Specification development and Qualification (Supplier Statement-Of-Work, Validation of Requirement Document established by function, Supplier Monitoring, with support of Engineering functions specialists as required, Support to Reviews at suppliers, and approval of Supplier Qualification report)
Support of requirement validation and verification activities during development
Candidate skills & requirements
Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Aeronautical/Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering Physics or Engineering Science)
Aerospace engineering background; an understanding of manufacturing processes coupled with a minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Strong verbal and written communication and negotiating skills
Problem solving take charge approach in meeting deadlines
Able to work in a team oriented environment
Landing gear technical knowledge
Experience in Project Management and Lean-Sigma is an asset
Working knowledge of Airworthiness rules is an asset
